This GPIO terminal expansion board expands the 40Pin of the Raspberry Pi, providing a silk screen note and LED display on the side. There are 4 groups of wiring terminals on the left side of the board, which are fixed by screws. Notably, DuPont wires are not easy to fall off and very stable. Thus, with the pin-out information of the GPIO marked on the side of terminals, it is easy to wire components up when doing electronic experiments.
Also, we can know the state of pins from whether the LED is on, and know types of pins from different colors. For example, red stands for 5V power supply, while orange for 3.3V, blue represents for special function pins, and green for ordinary GPIO.
Therefore, we are able to judge whether one pin is valid or not via observation.
